…Kiran looks at Navya, pulls the see-through curtain to his face giggling. He makes a high-pitched squeal and taps his right hand on the cushion repeatedly.


Navya turns her head and crawls rapidly towards Kiran with a smile, making a high-pitched squeal like he did.


As Navya reaches Kiran, Kiran pulls the curtain away from his face, looking at Navya. Navya looks at him. They both laugh…

The infant group has a sensory-motor activity everyday in the nap room area. I noticed that our infants love to explore soft materials such as pillows, cushions, stuffed animals, crash pad and curtains, using their whole bodies.  This self-initiated activity is good for both their physical and mental development.
